Join in on ambitious climate action

The developed countries of the world must cut emissions by 25-40% by 2020 according to figures from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Government of Norway has stated that we are prepared to reduce global emissions by the equivalent of 40% of our 1990 emissions as early as 2020, if this can contribute to an agreement on an ambitious climate regime that includes specific emissions commitments on the part of the major emitters.
